A Wider Perspective of Time Through the Lens of the New Planets

My talk at the SAK 2026 conference will focus on the new actors on the astrological stage. Among them we find dwarf planets, cubewanos, plutinos, sednoids, Damocloids, SDOs, centaurs, and so on. I will also address the centaurs and asteroids such as Juno and Astrea, and how they mirror our social roles in relation to the outer world (Jupiter/Saturn), as well as the inner world and the shamanic journey we experience through Chiron, Chariklo, Pholus and Nessus.
You will get to know Eris, Sedna, Haumea, Makemake, Quaoar, and several more of these gods and goddesses from other cultures, who seem to take our consciousness a step further into a more objective, inclusive, and transpersonal reality beyond Neptune’s veil.
I will try to convey a brighter picture of our time through that lens.

Mallory is a Professional Astrologer, tarot reader, and world traveler. They lead tarot classes and astrology meetups in both the Chicagoland area & virtual world. In their client work, Mallory loves working with fellow queers and highly-sensitive people. My Journey To Hellenistic Astrology Through Annual Profections

The main timing technique that is deeply embedded into the Hellenistic Tradition is known as Annual Profections.
Upon first learning Annual Profections, you may be temped to think the technique is too simple to mean much. However, in digging deeper and observing the technique in real time, it reveals the complex, multiple layers of the natal chart, as well as shining light on what Hellenistic Astrologers call “the natal promise.”
The learning of this very timing technique is what originally became the stepping stone for Mallory’s journey from a Modern Astrology student to Professional Hellenistic Astrologer. In this talk, Mallory will tell the entertaining tale of her road to Hellenistic Astrology, unwinding her own Annual Profections, all the while teaching you the power and art of the technique itself so you can apply it to your own chart.

Katharina is an esoteric astrologer from Bergen, Norway.
She works full-time as an astrologer and yoga instructor. She also runs the Arhat School of Astrology, a three-year program in esoteric and exoteric astrology. Arhat Center is an esoteric center where lectures, courses, yoga classes, and more take place.
